As a professional model and the face of e.l.f. Cosmetics, Hannah James has spent over a decade in makeup chairs around the world. She's worn the finest formulations, tested by the industry's top artists, and photographed under the most unforgiving lights. Through it all, one frustration never went away: the applicators never matched the product.
Luxury serums delivered by disposable plastic wands. Precision formulas smeared on with tools designed by nobody. Hannah watched artists swap out stock applicators for their own trusted brushes on every shoot. The answer was obvious. The tools were the problem.
So she set out to fix it herself. No licensing deals. No mass-produced generics. She assembled a team of material engineers and cosmetic chemists to reverse-engineer the last inch of the beauty routine. Every bristle density, every handle weight, every curve was designed to match the specific architecture of the products people actually use.
